Born and raised in New Jersey, Peter Cardoz is a second-generation Indian-American whose career uniquely blends his scientific expertise, innovative spirit, and rich cultural heritage. As the son of the late, legendary Chef Floyd Cardoz—widely revered as the "godfather of modern Indian cuisine"—Peter’s journey has been shaped by a deep connection to his family’s culinary traditions, combined with his drive to innovate in the cannabis industry.

Building on a decade-long career as a research scientist with two published papers, Peter seamlessly transitioned into the cannabis sector, where he has garnered over six years of diverse experience. His roles have spanned from hydrocarbon extraction technician and product manager to sales manager and business consultant, with successful projects across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Virginia. His extensive background in both the legacy market, focused on cultivation and infusion, and the commercial cannabis space has positioned him as a key player in the industry.

In 2024, Peter launched a groundbreaking product: the first full-spectrum, live resin cooking oil, designed to empower consumers to create their own cannabis-infused edibles at home. This innovative offering is the culmination of his deep expertise and passion for both cannabis and culinary arts, representing a significant milestone in his career.

Inspired by his mother, Barkha Cardoz, founder of Cardoz Legacy, Peter collaborates closely with her to continue pushing the envelope in the culinary world.
